The Flip to Keep Blueprint
A job that's slowly killing you. A loss. A marriage in a hard place. A habit that got its hooks in. I've been knocked down twice... and climbed back up both times with the same six steps.
my life, on a whiteboard
Who this is for
That's what makes it so hard to say out loud.
If that second list sounds like you, keep reading. I've been that guy twice.

My story
I did everything right. College. A master's degree. A good corporate job. And I'd pull into the parking lot at work and sit there, crying. I wasn't ungrateful. I was on a path that didn't fit me.
Then I read Rich Dad Poor Dad. A week later I was at a whiteboard with my wife, Melinda, walking her through the numbers on renting out our dream house and moving our three kids into an old duplex. She said no... then she saw what it could give our family, and she said yes. For the first time, we had margin.
I got my real estate license on the side. Then flips. Then rentals. When my department got laid off and they offered me a big promotion to stay, Melinda said it: "David... it's taking you in the wrong direction." So I jumped.
It worked. A business I loved. Time with my family. Freedom. Everything I thought would make me okay.
Then, in 2021, I lost my brother Brian. He was my best friend and my biggest fan... the guy who pushed me my whole life. It was sudden, and it was traumatic. It put me on the ground. All that success, and none of it could hold me up.
The habits went quietly, one at a time. It took me over a year to get to counseling. Then I pulled out my old journals and tried to remember who I used to be... and started putting him back. One habit at a time. With men around me who wouldn't let me hide.
Here's what I know now. Life is going to hit you. Not if... when. You don't need to have it all figured out. You need a way back up. This is mine.
I'm not a counselor, and this isn't therapy. If something you're carrying needs one, I'll help you find the right next step.
The whole idea
Life is going to hit you. You don't need to have it all figured out. You need a blueprint for getting back up.
I didn't climb out either time on my own. Faith, my wife, and men who wouldn't let me hide. That's what this is built on.
The Flip to Keep Blueprint
Different hit. Same way back.

Questions
Then this is for you too. The hit is different. The way back is the same: know who you want to be, rebuild your habits, get men around you, and take one honest step at a time. If what you're carrying needs a counselor, I'll help you find one.
No. That's the whole point. Quitting tomorrow is how guys blow up their families. We build margin first, so that one day leaving is a choice you get to make... not a jump you have to survive.
No. Real estate was my vehicle. Yours might be something else entirely. The six steps work the same either way.
Then that's where we start. When I pitched the duplex, Melinda's first answer was no. What changed it wasn't excitement. It was the numbers on a whiteboard and what they would give our family. Getting your wife on board is one of the first things we work on.
The Kit is free. The group is free... the cost is commitment. Plan Calls are free for the first 10 guys who finish the Kit. For 90 days of 1-on-1 coaching, we'll talk price on your Plan Call, once we both know it's a fit.
No. I'm not a financial advisor or a CPA. I'll share what worked for me and help you build a plan, but talk to the right professionals before making big money decisions.
Faith is the foundation I build everything on, and it's how I got back up both times. So it'll come up. You don't have to have it all figured out to start.
You don't need a leap. You need a first step. Start with the Kit.
